The Friends of the New Britain Public Library and the Children's Department announce their first-ever All Children's Book Sale. Friday, April 20 from 2 - 4 pm and Saturday, April 21 from 10 am - 4 pm in the Community Room. The Children's Department has planned craft activities and other events throughout the sale. Admission is free on both days.
Join us for movie matinee showing of the 1942 romantic comedy-drama Woman of the Year. Bring your lunch, cookies & coffee are on us! Community Room.
A representative from the non-profit organization Voices Against Lyme Disease will host an interactive program for adults and families on Lyme Disease. From how you get it, how you can avoid it, and the symptoms to look for. Handouts will be provided and patrons are encouraged to bring any questions they may have. Registration is required. Call the Information Desk at 860-224-3155, ext. 125, to register.
