The New Britain Public Library participates in Automatic Renewals. Eligible items are automatically renewed four days before their due date. 

 To be eligible the item(s): 

-Must have been checked out at the New Britain Public Library or its Jefferson Branch. 

-Must be a physical item, not downloadable. 

-Must be renewable. Patrons with an email address attached to their library account will receive an email notice listing the items renewed and the new due date. All library items can be renewed up to two times. 

 If the item has a hold for another patron, the item will not be renewed. Please check you library account frequently or call the Check Out Desk to determine what items need to be returned.
